Article 1. Definitions
- Moonyogi Retreat: The user of these general terms and conditions and the organizer of the retreats.
- Participant: The natural person who enters into an agreement with Moonyogi Retreat for a retreat or workshop.
- Agreement: The contract in which Moonyogi Retreat commits to providing a retreat to the Participant.
Article 2. Registration and payment
- Registration takes place via the online booking system on the website.
- The agreement is established at the moment the Participant completes the booking and has paid the full amount of the retreat (excluding any potential extras).
- Any optional extras or activities not included in the base package must be paid at least 3 days before the start or on-site, as indicated for the specific extra service.
Article 3. Cancellation by the Participant In case of cancellation by the Participant, the following rules apply:
- Up to 60 days before the start: The Participant is liable for the deposit amount.
- Between 60 and 30 days before the start: The Participant is liable for 50% of the total amount.
- Within 30 days before the start: The Participant is liable for the full amount (100%).
- The Participant may nominate a replacement in his/her place, provided this is communicated in time and the replacement meets the participation requirements.
Article 4. Cancellation or Modification by Moonyogi Retreat
- Moonyogi Retreat has the right to cancel the retreat in the event of insufficient registrations or force majeure (such as illness of the instructor or extreme weather conditions).
- In case of cancellation by Moonyogi Retreat, the Participant will receive a full refund of the amount paid. Moonyogi Retreat is not liable for costs already incurred by the participant (such as flight tickets).
- Moonyogi Retreat reserves the right to make minor changes to the program or the location (within reasonable limits).
Article 5. Health and Personal Risk
- Participation in the retreat is at the Participant’s own risk.
- The Participant is obliged to report relevant physical or mental conditions (such as injuries, pregnancy, or chronic illnesses) to the organization prior to the retreat.
- The Participant decides for themselves whether to participate in an exercise and is responsible for monitoring their own limits.
Article 6. Liability
- Moonyogi Retreat is not liable for personal injury, theft, loss, or damage to property of the Participant during the retreat.
- Moonyogi Retreat is not liable for damage resulting from delays or changes in travel that are beyond its control.
Article 7. Insurance The Participant is responsible for taking out appropriate travel and/or cancellation insurance. We strongly recommend this, as the cancellation terms are strictly enforced.
Article 8. Complaints
- If the Participant has a complaint, it must be reported directly on-site to the organization so that a solution can be sought.
- Complaints submitted afterward that were not reported on-site will, as a rule, not be processed.
Article 9. Applicable law
- Dutch law applies to all agreements.
- Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Moonyogi Retreat is located.
